Few areas or campsites at Goose Pond have the view and the setting that the Scoutcraft area has. Sitting on the far side of the Pond, the site overlooks the waters from below the bows of the fir trees that shade the side so well. If you are looking for a peaceful place to camp, this is it! No platforms, no driving into the site. Just hike in with your pack, set up camp, and enjoy camping the way it was meant to be.

Site is at the end of the road leading to the Shotgun and Archery Ranges on the far side of the Pond and can be easily accessed by most vehicles. There is room enough for one or two vehicles to be left at the entrance to the trail to site. A trailer can easily be towed to and maneuvered to the same parking spot, but not into the site itself. Site is a 10 to 15-minute walk around the Pond to the Dining Hall.
