Capouse is one of the old-time favorite sites at the Pond. Newly renovated in 2006, the site now has an improved drainage system, a refurbished campfire circle and a shelter with a wood floor. With 13 platforms, the site is ideal for medium sized units and joins to the Delaware Site with a short trail. Just a short walk from the Nature Lodge or the shore of the Pond.

Site is on the left as you head towards the COPE course and can be easily accessed by 4WD SUVs and light trucks. There is room enough for one or two vehicles to be left at the site in the off-season. The entrance to the site is on a slight grade and turning room in the area is at a premium, so a trailer can be towed to the site but putting the trailer in the site will only work if your tow-vehicle is stout enough to pull it up and out when you want to leave. Site is a 5-minute walk from the Dining Hall.
