The Beaver campsite is a terrific site if you want to be someplace a bit more separated from other sites but nearby the center of the camp. Located just below and to the west of the Administration Building, Beaver overlooks the Pond with a mix of open areas and lightly wooded terrain. The 18 platforms are arranged in small clusters that can work well for organizing your unit into small groups, yet the site is compact enough to maintain the all-together feeling.
Site capacity: For medium to larger sized units
Special Features: Lightly wooded with some clearing in the centers
Latrine type: Classic-style pit latrine

Fall, Winter, and Spring features:

Site is just below the Administration Building on the right as you head to the causeway and the far side of the Pond. It can be easily accessed by 4WD SUVs and light trucks. There is room enough for one or two vehicles to be left at the site in the off-season. The entrance to the site is on a slope, so a trailer can be towed to the site, but putting the trailer in the site will only work if your tow-vehicle is stout enough to pull it up a steep grade when you want to leave. Site is a 5-minute walk from the Dining Hall.
