Delaware/Leni Lenape Circa 1900's
TWO MOUNTAINS DISTRICT
It is our pleasure to invite you to the 2017 Native America Pow-Wow District Spring Camporee, hosted by Troop 154 Kingston with assistance from The Five Mountain Bear Clan (Regional Native American Cultural Education Group), District Leaders and Scout Troops of Two Mountains District. Most of the activities and competitions will be centered on an American Native theme. Our setting at Camp Acahela is a historically significant area, as is it was a summer training ground for young braves of the Delaware/Leni Lenape tribes. Scouts and Scouters will step back in time and immerse themselves in the history, culture and lifestyle of an era long ago.
